Register Online for the 6th Annual Gala Auction and Awards Ceremony

The annual auction fundraiser is PILF's primary funding source for summer grants. Last year's auction raised over $50,000 which, combined with matching funds from the law school, provided twenty-six deserving students with a stipend of $4,000 to support their summer work. While last year's auction was a tremendous success and resulted in the funding of the greatest number of grants in PILF history, there remained many more qualified applicants than recipients. PILF's goal is to provide grants for all eligible students who are devoting their summers to unpaid public interest or public sector work.

2007 PILF Gala Auction and Award Ceremony: A Tremendous Success!

PILF is happy to report that the event - including the live auction (led by Richard Pio Rodo's mesmerizing performance as auctioneer), the silent auction, registration, sponsorships, and donations - raised nearly $42,000!

Coupled with some last-minute donation pledges, and the approximately $7000 that was raised at the Summer Donate-a-Day reception, PILF reached its goal of raising $50,000! PILF was honored by the presence of honoree Elizabeth Cabraser, inspired by the outpouring of generosity from our attendees, and encouraged by the enthusiasm and support of the entire USF community.

Thank you to all who were part of the event: attendees, volunteers, donors and sponsors. The 2007 Auction would not have been possible without you. Please make sure to sign up for the email lists to keep informed about the grants and the 2008 auction.
