Donate a Day!

PILF as asking students, professors, alumni and other professionals to consider donating just one day's pay to help support the dozens of law students who fan out across the Bay Area, the state and the country to do important public interest work in the legal field. Students who receive grants often work to promote the civil and political rights of the poor and under-represented. All too often, this important work is not paid, and students must find a way to support themselves and their volunteer work.

Your generous donation will help us raise funds to provide summer grants to students doing this important public interest work throughout our communities.

WHAT: A cocktail hour to thank those who have already donated a day and encourage those who haven't. This will be a fun networking event and we encourage anyone interested in PILF's work to join us. For those who cannot afford to donate a day, any support is welcomed, including your presence at out major events.

WHEN: July 9, 2009 at 5:30 p.m.

WHERE: Bingham McCutchen, 3 Embarcadero Ctr # 1800, San Francisco
